Our story

A Filipino-born surfer . yoga teacher, artist, humanitarian and founder. Since 2013 I have been traveling the world chasing waves and living with purpose across the Philippines, Bali, India, and Costa Rica.
I grew up on the beaches of the Philippines where the ocean was my first teacher. It carried me to Bali, deepened my practice and eventually brought me to Santa Teresa Costa Rica, where in 2021 I founded Surfer Goddess Retreats a women's surf and wellness brand built on ocean immersion, somatic movement, and sisterhood. With 16 years of yoga teaching experience this work is a framework for self discovery and lasting transformation. To read the full story of how it came to life visit the blog.
I am also a painter. My art is a visual extension of everything i live, the ocean. the earth, the beauty found in cultures across the world. Each piece is born from a life spent in deep relationship with nature and humanity. Visit the Shop to explore and purchase my art prints. Long before any of this I have been a humanitarian spending my life in service to street children and nursing home communities. That devotion is not separate from my work. It is the heart of it
It is also what drives my deepest vision Diwa Tierra an eco retreat center in development in Spain, and a growing retreat presence here in Costa Rica, Surfer Goddess Retreats is the financial engine making it possible

Terms and Conditions
To enjoy the Surfer Goddess experience, an initial deposit is required to make your reservation. The remaining amount is paid a month prior to arrival. Please check our booking page for our list of prices.
Booking
Private and shared rooms are subject to availability on a first-come, first-served basis. Please book your reservations in advance to secure your desired accommodations. We reserve the right to refuse bookings for any reason.
Cancellation Policy
There is no refund for arriving late or leaving an adventure early.
Cancel 61 days or more prior to the retreat start date: you can either apply a 100% credit towards another retreat date or cancel in full and be charged a cancellation fee of $600.
Cancel 60 – 30 days prior to the retreat start date: you can either apply a credit towards another retreat minus an office fee of 60% of your total retreat package or be charged a cancellation fee of 75% of your total retreat package.
Cancel 29 – 15 days prior to the retreat start date: you can either apply a credit towards another retreat minus an office fee of 70% of your total retreat package or be charged a cancellation fee of 85% of your total retreat package.
Cancel 14 days or fewer prior to the retreat start date: you will be charged a 100% cancellation fee.
No Exceptions to Cancellation Policy: Our cancellation policy is applicable to all situations, including but not limited to COVID-19, inclement weather, personal emergencies, and delayed or cancelled flights. Getting Travel Protection Insurance is strongly advised.
Disclaimer: At Surfer Goddess, we appreciate your dedication to your selected experience. In order to facilitate a smooth process, we kindly ask customers to complete payment, provide necessary documentation, and establish direct communication with our team within a two-week period prior to the scheduled retreat. Please note that Surfer Goddess retains the right to cancel reservations if these requirements are not fulfilled. Your understanding and cooperation are valued as we strive to create fulfilling and stress-free retreats.
Liability Release Forms
After reserving a slot, we will send out Liability Release Forms for you to fill up and sign before going on the retreat. There will be NO exceptions to this policy.
Welcome KIT
Upon your approved reservation at Surfer Goddess, you will receive a Welcome Kit with helpful information you might need during your stay in our retreat. This includes informative description of the area, tips on what to pack, extra activities to explore and many more.
Golden Rules
All activities provided by Surfer Goddess inherently entail risks to individuals and equipment, notwithstanding the presence of qualified instructors ensuring proper supervision. Certain activities necessitate participants to possess a reasonable level of health and fitness. Clients are obligated to disclose any medical conditions, illnesses, allergies, or prescribed medications prior to booking. Individuals with heart conditions or who are pregnant should refrain from participating in any activity. Under no circumstances should clients engage in activities while under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or medication that may impair their physical abilities.
